i think they mentioned in one of the more recent eps that he's the son of the previous emperor or smth? he was the crown prince before the current king was, mentioned around when they said the "crown prince" was engaged to cecilia
Oh right... I thought they said that too but wasnt too sure. I just got tired of searching through the chapters hahaha!! Cause I also thought he was crown prince before which is why I was thinking was one of the reasons why i think the current king is doing this is because he resents the duke for abandoning his place as the crown prince because he forced him to become the king when he didn't want to be. But I mean its like... neither of them wanted to be king it seemed like so it would've been a lose lose either way
understandable!! it's hard to know what the king is thinking honestly bc he could have a lot of reasons we dont know what he's really like and they're all probably so different from when they were kids
