I mean we see in the newest chapter that the ML still respects OG love interest enough to put on the shawl and keep w status quo. The ML is also allowed to not have to sleep w who he wants he’s the king. I think it’s neglect in the og story bc MC actually loved ML/didn’t have power, but it’s not the case for OG love interest here. Like they don’t like ML and they have a strong standing even wo the king’s favor they r good. Once again r everyone is weird here but I like all of the character dynamics. ML for being King and doing this but also it’s politics, is in love and thinks he’s in a good relationship w MC but my guy literally drugged the king wo consent.
