YES! I just went investigating in the past episodes lol, but yeah those are his shoes. But why is it being implied that he's got something to do with Youngwoon later regretting his confession? If anything, wasn't Taegu trying to tell Seo-In the truth? Or is it that once Seo-In finds out he'll choose to distance himself out of guilt for what his family members had done? Confused.
He would not distance himself from Yeongwoon. I think he would feel guilty for being the reason why Yeongwoon suffered back then but he wouldn’t leave Yeongwoon again, not even after they both confessed! Because of that, something will happen to Yeongwoon again. I strongly believe it’s because of that demonic family again.
The reason why I think it’s Haeyool because he could be the one who makes Yeongwoon as well. He did all of things just to crush Seoin and to get Yeongwoon but seeing knowing that Yeongwoon is actually with Seoin and loving him, oh boy I believe it will be like “You don’t like me, so I’ll make you suffer”
So I need someone to tell me that I’m wrong
I really don't see a way for Seo-In leaving Yeongwoon, he'd rather find the most obscure solution to any problems that would arise for either of them than not be together, especially now that he knows the feelings are mutual.
Which is why I'm confused why they author would tie Taegu's appearance with Yeongwoon's narration of "regretting it later". Taegu already had his chances to cause issues between them (either cause he doesnt like SI or cause he lowkey wants YW to stick around him), but he's done only minimal stuff, so would he suddenly now be the catalyst for things getting drastically worse between the two of them? I don't get what the author is hinting at with Taegu's involvement.
At this point, i think everyone will play a part with what’s gonna happen in chap 1. I think taegu, the twink and and his sponsor would somehow have conflict that might end up hurting yw. The mother, for sure will do something too because she is crazy and i think her secretary will play a part too. So yeah, I just hope YW will end up happy after all the shit he’s been through
At this point I don’t know if Taegu is good or bad anymore because most of the time people like him more which makes him look like a good character.
Without Jaewoon who used to be the main villain and caused the most chaos in both Yeongwoon’s and Seoin’s life, we don’t know who is the reason that will make what we saw in the beginning of the chapter happened.
It can be Haeyool, Taegu, the mother, the family, the cousin(the nephew? I don’t remember who he is to Seoin/Jaewoon but he’s also the one who joined Jaewoon to hurt Seoin when he was young and even hold a grudge against him because he believed that Seoin killed Jaewoon)
But about the ending, I want to believe it has nothing to do with Taegu(unless there is a twist and he’s actually obsessed and possessive of Yeongwoon, then it’s possible) I guess it’s about him accepting that he completely lost? It can be like that and the dialogue didn’t have anything to do with him. Sometimes the author likes to play with us by putting some panels at the end and it’s actually nothing like what we thought.

Oh okay so it’s taegu. There’s a panel in chp. 55 where we can see him wearing the same shoes and he dropped yw’s bagg
