If that is really him, I believe it’s more about him accepting his lost. Sometimes the author put panels of second lead walking away(after seeing mc and first ml together kissing or confessing)in the end of the chapter indicating that they accept the fact that they can’t be with mc. So I think it’s something like that!
We might be just too anxious about what will happen to Yeongwoon since we don’t know who will be the one who hurt him
