Eus found out that the king wanted to kidnap or kill Lan so he caught and killed the assassins. And when Lan asked Eus what he was going to do with the king he said he “returned” them to the king implying that he sent assassins to kill him. Ch102
It was glossed over but it was implied that Eus killed the king. Though they never went in depth of how or when he was killed. In the next chapters when they return to Latia they talk about how it would be unstable bc two kings died so close to each other. :)

Can someone drop the chapter on what happened to the emperor that caused Eus to assassinate him? I forgot there even was an emperor
