Warm advice but if you want the author to keep writing manhwa you shouldn’t be sharing the raws around xx. scanalating/translating is a moral gray zone especially if the english release isn’t out yet since its spreading it to an audience that otherwise can’t read korean, but sharing raws directly impacts the author’s earnings. Its up to you though, but i really love this author and i wish that she gets paid for her work.

I read what u said, ur still on this 'morally gray' site ??? a bit hypocritical to still try and care about the authors, everything directly impacts the author's earnings anyways bc officials still cost money and people bypass those reading here, not a single korean author is gonna thank you for trying to stop the distribution of their korean raws but still read their english officials for free. translating it doesn't remove the moral wrongs of distributing it without their permission anyways and both mean the author isn't getting any revenue from it. at the end of the day it's seriously useless to try and spread this idea on mangago of all places where raw links are thrown around everyday here...

i said scanalating is a moral gray zone. Even after the english release comes out, keeping scanalations up does nothing but hurt the author’s earnings, which is why some websites will take their scanalations down after the english release comes out. But That being said, there are positives to scanalations: before the english release comes out, scanalations grow audiences who wouldn’t have access to the content in the first place due to language barriers, and they may be more incentivised to buy the official releases.
But compared to scanalations, sharing around raws offer no positives at all. People who would have purchased the raws will see this, and choose the free option and the author loses money.
