Author is very well aware of the problematic shit, part of it is also perspectives, ML didn't forget, but MC forgot how important ML was to him or maybe he wasn't because this is ML's perspective we're seeing right now. I can understand why ML would feel betrayed because MC moved on got more priorities. I also think not putting more plot and just rape shit in s1 lost potential audience because this actually has a plot and the author is pretty talented, I just hope author maintains this momentum because this story has a lot of potential.
