Then draw/write something yourself. If you don't like this, then stop reading about it and complaining. It's like reading sci-fi and then complaining that it doesn't have fantasy elements or sum shit. It's obv a dark romance w/ rape so stop complaining and go find something else to read if u dont like it
Seriously, I think it was obvious from the beginning it would be dark and rape is usually expected.
Actually i didn’t know there would be rape but that is just my fault for not seeing the signs. And hey it was a valid criticism. We already got a lot of bl marketing this dangerous narrative so it just sucks that this one also have it. And the comparison between genres (fantasy and sci-fi) to literal rape are very different things. But to each their own ig
I need authors to think that dark romance doesn’t need rape in them. Such wasted potential.
