Mine is the other way. I think he found his old tape. Because remember in the last episode of season 2? He was so infuriated that SC stabbed Bada. He's so determined to kill SC and find the tape. But now in season 3 I feel like there's a sudden switch in the goal. That's why I have a feeling he found his tape and when he inserted it, now he knows things that the current Doha didn't know. Plus remember the reason why SC removed Doha's old tape? It was because he believed only 1 could escape the game. There must be something that happened that led them to believe that.
TL;DR While looking for Bada's tape, Doha found his old tape instead. And when he inserted it, now he knows more things so there's a change in his agenda with Bada
that's lowkey a really good theory, bc he probably would want the bada who remembers him and is in love with him(and remembers all the puzzles and stuff, but that's not important). something probably happened between s2 and s3 that we didn't see that explains his......ominous phrasing.
honestly, the plot of dreadful night was way more than i expected. i thought it would be a horror bl where they're stuck in a game(and have sex), but now I'm here for the very complicated and complex plot.
