Please don't say that. I don't know your familiarity with the process of making a comic, but what you're referring to looks a lot to me like filters on quickly sketched backgrounds or stock backgrounds. Using filters and manipulating pictures is very useful when you need to draw a lot of chapters, even if you draw very fast. Please do not go around accusing artists of using AI if you don't have any definitive proof, it can be harmful even if it may not be your intention.
That said I fucking hate AI. Keep hating it as well bestie
Ones I remember just looking a little stranger, for lack of a better word, off the bat. In 450 the rappers leg tattoo looks different the 3 times it appears. In 453 the apartment windows/balconies in the first panel change with no real rhyme or reason. The car shop, in the wide shots, the background warps and blends together in places. And every now and then the text/lettering in backgrounds are just smudges.
I do mention these being possibilities in a response and I definitely recognise the workload making a consistent, up to date, well executed, comic is. And I don't take the act of bringing this concern up lightly. I'm familiar with how techniques are used across the industry to cut corner or lighten the workload and fully support it, it just sometimes doesn't look like it in certain areas. I've followed Old Xian for years at this point, and they're incredibly skilled and I'd never take that fact away from them.

Is Old Xian using AI in their work now...? Ever since maybe the 400 chapter mark some of the faces in wide shots, and a lot of the backgrounds have looked warped and unreadable. It's a little disheartening that such a prolific artist would be turning to use AI to supplement for their lack of ability, no matter the reason. I hope it's just some poor 2d filtering over real images or 3d sets and props, but that just doesn't really look like the case.
