forgot the title and i want to reread so bad

so the manhwa bl is set in joseon where both the mc and ml were both and in an academy(?) where like the mc’s father was a head or like a renowned teacher. mc and ml were neck in neck which each other. they were also roommates but it was short lived as the academy was attacked and most of the ppl there were assassinated. the mc was from a cliff into a big hole and the ml joined the assassinators as he was like the young master for those ppl. sorry if its confusing this is my understanding of the story
