I think it is a bit more deep than just disliking a particular trope for personal tastes.
Example: I tend to dislike financial gap tropes, and I understand that's just my personal opinion.
My problem with He Tian is because he is abusive and doesn't respect Mo at all.
So yeah... I hope the comment section is free for us to complain as well.
Also, please don't assume everyone reading BL is a girl ಥ‿ಥ
Abusive where, don’t respect Mo at all where. It’s the healthiest relationship ever and people still find a way to complain because He Tian is a big teaser and likes to bully Mo and Mo entertains it and literally crashes out when He Tian is cold/distant. Have we read the same 17 days?
Abusive when your boyfriend helps you out and take you away from poverty, abusive when your boyfriend literally risked his life to help you out frim this stalker issue (mind you, knifes where involved??), abusive when your boyfriend helped you becoming a better person and stop being a brat mob, helped you have good grades, think about better future and helped you becoming the man you are today OUT OF LOVE. But people out of EVERY MAN will find THE HE TIAN abusive???
Girls just say you hate him because you don’t like overly confident, provider, respectful but absolute tease lord manly characters and call it a day, because abuse is not in He Tian dictionary and if anything else, because of his background, he tried to distance himself from Mo because he could be injured because of him, but Mo called him back. Stop thinking Mo is a victim when he’s just a boy, gay patootie, SO GAY THAT HE THINKS THAT HIS COWORKER WOULD THINK ITS FROM HE TIAN. Like— he’s in age to get bitchies and all he thinks about is “omg what if they found out of gay like this???” Bruh
I don't agree that he's abusive but you know abusive people can still help the person their abusing right? Doing good things for the person doesn't take away the abuse. This person probably just sees that he tian doesn't listen to little mo even when he tells him no multiple times and sees it as a abuse or lack of respect towards little mo because doing something even after someone tells you no is disrespecting their boundaries which is how their relationship started and how it has continued. But it's clear that at this point in their relationship little mo has accepted he tian for being that way if not he wouldn't call him back like you said and he simply wouldn't put up with him at all. So I don't think op should get jumped for seeing their relationship like that because that's the way the author has written their relationship he tian does what he wants to little mo and little mo just ends up accepting it. In any other media it does come off as abusive to constantly disrespect boundaries but it's a common trope and it's the trope that they have had for years so at this point you can't really be upset with it when it's always been that way even with the good times thrown in
I actually don't have a problem with he tian. and you said he did alot for mo. I just don't like the tsundere archetype. and I think he tian deserves better than a guy who keeps screaming chicken balls every two seconds. I don't have a problem with mo as a character it's just the relationship dynamic that annoys me

I cannot for the life of me understand the appeal of mo and he tian relationship. he's STILL acting like that... it is so annoying. found it annoying for day one and a million chapter later he's still acting like that.
