He is a teenager going through puberty phase. He is still quite unstable. At least he knows that he is in the wrong to say that to his mom I hope he apologizes to his mom later. I'm more disappointed at Dojin tbh, hahahaha. Dojin is like my father. He thinks he can make peace of the past bit by bit but he doesn't understand how hard it is to heal traumatic experience.
