She's still a commoner, she can't just call him by his name like that... Are you new to reading manhwas like this? Are you new to reading history in general? Even women in places like Europe didn't call the king or prince of a place by his name directly, no matter how much of a lover or wife they were.
I know that's exactly why its annoying. Rather than her stopping saying that he should rather want to be called a husband. Realistic or not its obviously much more romantic to have a equal way to call each other, not this power play thing. Which means that im not saying its unrealistic, im expressing distain
"I know it's realistic for the time but it's annoying to me" bro literally a week before this she had thought she'd never see him again. The difference in status is VAST. Ofc she is going to call him by what she should. He could kill her in a second if she oversteps her position.
Even tho we know he wouldn't.
And if you had paid attention to this very chapter he literally says "who is this milord you speak of" implying actually exactly what you're wanting that he is trying to get her to see them more as equals.
Maybe pay attention to the chapter before bitching? Or stop reading historical fiction if you can't handle it lol
Girl calm tf down people cant even voice their opinions anymore without someone bitching and moaning. Im literally not blaming anyone im just saying i dont like that master/milord thing like many other people aswell. Its not that big of a deal take a breather and drink some water its not like im name calling anyone
You definitely have a right to voice that opinion, personally i get annoyed everytime I see modern talk in historical manhwas. I enjoy historical manhwas to stay realistic, it adds that extra quality to it even if it's just language which I personally appreciate, it really sets the mood for that era and makes it easier to get immersed in the story which is something I love, though like our friend mentioned here it seems like he's slowly wanting that equal footing, they've just reunited and have just now confessed so the formal name dropping might be coming sooner than we think :)) I think during medieval times even as a married couple the queen would call the king "your majesty" out of respect to his position, kind of like in certain mångas you see mom calling the dad "dad" or the opposite, just a respectful thing or when a subordinate calls their boss "boss" its the same principle basically but i hear you!! You want them to have that equal title and it definitely is romantic, sets my butterflies going and sometimes even look forward to seeing characters sweet talking!
Ive had my fair share of arguments here where people couldn't accept my opinion on things gotta say at times I could've handled it better and had the respective tone I had just now with you so I'd say it happens is all on here. This is my personal opinion as to where I think it might've gotten wrong but I think maybe you should've formulated it better at the start? It has happened me aswell where i write something with a specific tone and thats what sets some people off, not only that but not all romances are full blown romances, there are subtle ones I've read where I've wondered where if the romance is the friends we made along the way Then there are slow burns,
such as this one so it'll take time, we just have to be patient and let the author cook especially if they want to follow that realistic historical narrative, I've read plenty of modern manhwas where the mc won't drop the word "sir" or "boss" until the very end so this isn't much different I'd say?

Can she stfu with the milord shit
