Nothing prepared me for Alicia being more than a plot device and actually a big ass lesbian for Rachel who would've peaked as an adventurous butch if she had been healthier. She sees right through Noah's bullshit, her lecturing of him was satisfying. And no matter how insecure Rachel feels about her motivations, her care for Alicia was obviously sincere, and her reaction to Alicia's parting showed how deep her love for Alicia went.
