same with me, i don't think there are sites I'd say and if that would suit your tastes. going through people's comments and watching reels is the best option tbh. you get a little idea of what you're gonna read and if it'll suit your tastes.

or just generally browsing specific tags such as fluff on the site, or even just seeing the current top featured stories or feeds that seem to show people commenting over and over on the same specific stories (looking specifically at you jinx lmao)

I manage to find interesting stuff, by using the TWO search tools : the one on the main page uses keywords , i just go wild with any keyword my imagination would like to find in a title, and dig up from there, same with the other search tool * by tags * !!! Have you used that search tool already ? Do you know how to access it ? It's super handy if you find you really like a specific trope !!!
I live in the latest updates part of the website, I'll check on it like every few hours, scan threw it, and add something that I find interesting to my want to read or just start to read it immediately. It's also how I discover some gems on this site. I also do the same thing with the feeds and even down here in the questions.
Oh yes !! And this website allows you to make collections of other people's lists, and you can also access to the lists people have collected in their * followed lists * _ go to anybody's personnal page, then click on _ Lists > Followed. _ and tadaam !!! there you have it !! A list of selected recommandation lists !!!
if i'm craving a certain trope (eg childhood friends) i'll go browse the tag for a while! i also LOVE going through my favorite reads and looking at the lists that people have sorted it in because if they liked that one, chances are they'll like something else i'll enjoy

i usually find the best stuff when i just dig through random ppls lists for hours. sometimes i spend hours on this site just adding potential reads to my list. other times a random edit or rec pops up on my tiktok fyp.
