Chase really tried to rationalize in his own way the c scar. He had seen the c scar again with another person, his makeup artist and does ask question about it but he is afraid of speculating again. you know the punishment scene after him being jealous of Josh and does assume he has a lover; he does remember that one sentence of Josh that he would just leave if he jumped into conclusion and does not want Josh to leave so.. he tried to gaslight himself on it... until the truth just revealed itself

to anyone that read the novel, is there ever an explanation as the why chase doesn’t acknowledge Joshua’s c section scar? If not I’m assuming he maybe just thinks its an injury he got in the past while working as a body guard or something and not from a surgery…
