cannon story means the main/real story. These omegaverse chapters are an alternative universe (au), so these events don’t actually happen in the cannon (main/real) universe of this story.
There's no baby for them even in omegaverse au, they are just gay. I think author wants to avoid making them have baby even in au because they dont plan to have/adopt baby in current canon timeline as that would be giving hope for readers who wants baby in canon story
