I am with you on this but calm down, look at it like I am doing......even though it is obviously hinted that lily fell in love with diana, the author knew that readers would catch on, and in that world the concept of same gender relationships wasn't even considered so maybe lily didn't even think her love was of such love but only as a friend because her mentality didn't allow another definition of her love. Just like when a girl thinks that one of her friends is like her twin soul and then suddenly she has a wake-up call that dhe might like girls or she is Bi, because it is there, the concept. Lily's world doesn't have it. So I would like to think the author wanted to show that yes that such feelings are there in this world but not acted upon. And lily might be bi not totally lesbian. And I believe felix would let her have her own feelings about her just like his for the emperor.

I know that bisexuality exists. But they are completely disregarding her feelings for Diana as friendship and not that of romantic interest and not just that she has repeatedly denied multiple marriages and showed in this chapter that she was never interested in men in the first place no matter who it was and again they r just going to make it seem like Felix is sent from heaven for her and will “change” her feelings just cause he wasn’t an asshole and they need her to end up with a guy lol Felix is an amazing dude don’t get me wrong but for 129 chapters it was completely platonic on her part after showing interest in no one but lady Diana now she somehow falls for Felix for just saying a few nice words? Instead of Diana who has been with her for far longer and she herself kept a portrait of her even after death she was literally blushing from head to toe by that portrait and the hundreds of evidence of the romantic interest she has of Diana? They aren’t even acknowledging her feelings for Diana for her to “move on” it’s just shown as friendship so there’s nothing for her to move on from it’s terrible writing here dude
I get what ur saying but the concept of same sex relationships exist in that world lilys parents knew she had feelings for Diana and that’s why they kept shoving her into marriages with men so that she would stop her “nonsense” and in this chapter it was obvious they kept shaming her for it and lily herself knew that that’s why she told Felix “it’s weird isn’t it”
You're reading too much into it. Lily clearly said she like Diana's free spirit and it gave her the confidence to live the life she wants.
