Yessss the boy with blonde hair and purple eyes who gave her the key was the little boy the bought at the auction and released! He’s the prince of their empire but is illegitimate bc he was born out of wedlock by (I’m assuming) a mage of some sort and that’s why he has both imperial blood and can use sorcery. I have a hunch that he’s also her business partner at the guild and just used magic to change his appearance just as she does when meeting her clientele lolz
