Lwk there so much guideverse stories, you could jst drop this one if you don’t like the MC. I feel like it being BL doesn’t change the fact he’s gonna keep acting like this considering he isekaied into a world where things like bugs and toads are 10x larger than normal. Any normal person would be grossed out by it, him being unfazed would be more mary sue. Unless his c-tier power is shown to be more helpful than just dealing with the ML’s insomnia, then he really is jst a powerless person who got summoned into a world where their norms isn’t his. From what you’re complaining about, I recommend: Mission: Save the Hunter and The Hunter wants to live quietly. To be fair, these are Mary Sues as well, but I think the plot is more well developed and has interesting characters that it’ll suit your tastes more. (Yes it is BL)

it is a dungeon so it seem dumb to not realize why the toad/monster is big also as someone said above he already played the game and not a complete clueless.
if he was just weak it is also still fine. but he was weak everywhere else but when it come to give advice and touching remark he was the best!! isnt that bad combination.
i dont want female to be potrayed this weak if it is dungeon story why they use such combo in dungeon story. if it is rofan it is fine. thats why i said obliterate the female lead so author will change it to better one. but since it is male this weak i less care.
Actually, there are mcs from bl titles that also get complains of being too weak, defenseless or naive. Quite a lot i assure you. I've seen a lot of them in this site. Those kind of complaints aren't limited to female characters ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ i had my fair share of arguments with a lot of people defending these mcs regardless of their gender. And i will also do the same for this one.

Mc didn't wanna go to a dungeon in the first place, so no way he was expecting to see a giant ass toad that day, he is acting like a normal person through and through, not everyone can be dense and nonchalant some people show emotions, and you made a comment for the public to see, so it's a no Brainer people will answer. when i saw weak BL MC i usually just move on and dont engage in comments so i just thought they dont get much complain as the webtoon will be still popular anyway, usually because the arts are pretty or the smut is delicious. after all there are a lot of questionable stuff in bl that people usually dont mention because the smut is good enough.
so previously i saw little comment about mentioning how weak this mc is. but after i wrote this comment i saw there are more comment about it too. so i am not alone haha

Yeah there are annoying weakass mc but what can you do? Besides, this is one is only at 25 chapters. The story have yet to develop much. #－.－) i judge characters when they have yet to receive character development despite the plot progression.
