I understand where you're coming from, but as an artist myself, drawing is not easy at all, especially considering how detailed the webtoon is. First, you have to make a storyboard based on the written novel, then create the initial sketches and submit them to the editor for approval. After that, there’s the process of revising and refining the sketches, cleaning them up, doing the line art, adding base colors, shading and rendering, finalizing the backgrounds, and finally, placing the dialogues inside the speech bubbles.
And I also agree with the comment above. artists don’t just spend a lot of time on a single chapter; they also have to balance it with their personal lives, which can be just as demanding. So yes hiatus is very important for artists to take breaks once in a while.
Spoke like a person who's never drawn a line in their life. Just draw??? Do you know how much mental and physical energy it takes to "JUST DRAW???" I draw as a hobby and doing that professionally all the time is hard. And people have a personal life outside of their career too. This comment made my blood boil fr.

The hiatus on this manwha, when the story is already completed bc is based on a novel, are ridiculous. This season only had what? Twelve chapters? And they announced they will be taking a whole month hiatus just for the final chapter of this season. I will never understand that. “Authors need breaks” they literally have to just draw. The story already exists. I just cannot sympathize.
