I agree. We can pretty much predict what's gonna happen but the way the have written the story, though "typical", still very much draws me in. I just hope that unlike alot of these manwhas, they give her a great character development and dont leave her as the damsel always in distress ya know

Totally agree– I don't want her to be rescued by Noct at every turn, I just want him to help her gain confidence in herself so she is able to "save" herself. But from what little we've gotten it seems it'll take a while for her character to grow... so I'm scared on how long it'll take to get there
Sadly I think your right. It's gonna be another 50 to 100 chapters till we get any decent development smh （￣へ￣) I low-key am gonna probably have to let this marinate for awhile if there's no progression within the next few chapters.
I think we've all seen this song and dance before, atp, but honestly so far this has been better than most stories in this trope. Noct properly realized and apologized for his mistake, and has been actively trying to build a better relationship with her. The cousin girl (?) is annoying af but, alas. She's needed for plot reasons ig.
I hate such meek FLs so it's hard to see that Karina is going to take even longer than this to start changing her mindset... but, she's been treated like shit all her life, so I honestly can't blame her. It's pretty understandable (unfortunately) that she'd be antsy at being treated right for the first time in so long.
But!!! I do wish she at the very least wasn't planning on leaving. I know the mind likes to trick us but... how would it be better for Noct if she left...? He's also hated by everyone, gurl
