my theory is that, since she's afraid other people will know that she's keeping a picture of diana all along, and as she mentioned if they are not your lover or child others view it as weird, hence she didn't voluntarily show the one she keeps as all of Diana's pictures has been ordered to be burned.
I could be trippin‘ or completely wrong but, wasn’t there a chapter where Athy „wanted“ to know Diana‘s face and Lilly and Robane was brainstorming? If she had a locket all along why didn’t she show it to Athy? And if she has her reasons, idk??? I could be completely wrong okay???
Also that‘s it? I need more Lily x Robane scenes/chapters pleaaaase.
