Is it just me or is that old lady, mieum's caretaker, incredibly suspicious?

YEAH FR. Like, it's either she works with someone else (like jian, probably not suryeon tho she's too kind for suryeon's plans), or she had a hand in what happened before. Like, she's way too supportive of MC and too soft on him and "accidentally" gives him information. She even undoes the chain on his leg!! What sane normal employee undoes the chain that her master placed??? She's so gutsy to do that.
