Here comes the 15 year old who thinks she owns the comment section. “Dark romance,” lmfao don’t make me laugh please. Every story with romanticized rape is “dark romance” in your eyes. What did you expect when you opened the comments? People screaming about how they like the rape? Go back to Wattpad if you want a comment section filled with people loving the rape. And btw, you’re complaining too. People can dislike and comment whatever tf they want , get over it.
I'm pro art, if the writers or artists desires stay in fiction then go ham to the walls, I could care less. I'm just saying that It's stupid at least to me to complain about the story where the main character has sex with a mafia boss every chapter and are aghast at the dark elements. It makes no since to me, don't like don't read, simple. (sorry for the wordy reply)
It’s not even about the fiction or the author, people are allowed to dislike certain parts of a story, like non-con. It honestly makes no sense to me how you don’t even understand something as basic as how a comment section works. You’re calling other people’s opinions “complaining” when you’re doing the exact same thing. And by the way, the whole “don’t like, don’t read” thing is stupid as fuck. It basically means, “You’re only allowed to praise the story, and if you have anything negative to say, just stop reading altogether.” That logic applies to you too, you can stop reading the comments if you don’t like them. Why are you even here expecting everyone to have the same opinion as you?
I have a simple question when you opened the comment section did you expect everyone to love the rape?
It dosent seem like your understanding me at all, and yes I know I should've worded my initial comment better but oh well. All I'm saying is why run to the comments when the non-con elements have been there since like chapter one just not as extreme as the most recent. It was coming and it makes no since to me to suprised when it did. It's like putting your car on train track and suprised a train hit it. My initial complaint was also that if someone who hasn't read the story before and goes to the comment's, who make it seem like rape central without letting them see for themselves if their going to be okay with whats in the story, you can comment that the story wasn't for you becomes of those elements, but to fill the comment's aghast and distraught like you didn't think it would happen, just dosent make since to me. And yes ' don't like don't read' does make since, if your not comfortable with the content of the story, don't read it. I do believe we as people have a right to be critical of our media, but there not being critical just complaining on a free story that they don't have to read.
And to answer your last question, no I didn't, I thought people were going to be talking about whats the bodyguard's deal, or the drama about the wedding and how the main character feels about feeling in the middle of it, you know talking about the story and what's happing, that's what I expected. (sorry if this dosent make since in some parts, It's hard for me to put what I'm fully thinking into words)

The story is really good and has an interesting plot so far if you like slowburns, but you wouldn't get that from the comment's because it seems like all they wanna do is complain. It's dark romance, get over it or don't read at all, what's so hard about that to understand
