I read one like that, it was a collection of short stories about villainesses and one of them loves a really ugly guy.
Oh, you're right, it's rosy path of villainy or something like that, I completely forgot about that one. I was thinking like in our world but that one works too.
It would be cool to see the opposite of this, someone from a world with a different beauty standard in our world. I get that the joke is that he is actually handsome so it would be interesting to see what the story would be like with someone we consider ugly as the love interest.
