When Chase had his first rut, there was no one to spend it with. Grayson paniced and brought his dog, but Chase passed out before anything could happen. In the end they took out his pheromones by injection. Chase couldn't really remember what happened, and Grayson most likely told him the dog thing as a joke. But since Chase remembered a dog being there and no one told him the truth, he thought it was possible.
Grayson later used his fear to get him to the pheromone parties. There they wait until Chase passes out and take out his pheromones by injection, but Chase isn't aware of it. Since Chase is not willing to realease his pheromones the normal way and it's also dangerous concerning pregnancy, because he can't coontrole it and can't remember.

The night Chase spend with Josh was later, when Chase already lived on his own.
Chase was aware that he slept with someone, an omega, but can't remember much more. He is even afraid that he raped that person.

Grayson still has his dog, but Alex is old now. Alex has his own house by the way.

No fr thats what im thinking…. From what ive read in his dialogue he doesnt seem to have issues with doing it with dogs

No, he actually does have issues with that. But Grayson is someone who goes by logic, although his logic seems weird and he has problems understanding emotions. If the choice is between going insane because of pheromones/dieing or a dog, he thought the dog is an option to help Chase. Would Grayson himself really do it with a dog? I don't think so.

When you read Grayson talk, you need to consider that at that point he doesn't understand emotions. What Grayson says often comes over as weird, because he was trained to mimick emotions, try to read the other person and then try to react in a way he should. But it's sometimes a hit and miss.^^ Same goes with his way of helping. And in Chase's case it had a very negative effect.

The crazy guy is really entertaining ( if you read his novel, you'll understand), it's just he sometimes did some real shit like with Chase.

Is he a psychopath or smth? This whole thing with not understanding emotions and stuff. Tho i do disagree with his logic. I dont think beastiality should ever be considered

Yes, he is. Actually all dominant alphas are. At the begining of the KMIYC novel it was mentioned that if they manifest before puberty they are more likely to become psychopaths. Grayson was born manifested, he is kind of the extremest a dominant alpha can get, he releases more pheromones than a normal dominant alpha and he is actually unusually strong, I think even for a dominant alpha. That is one of the biggest problems of the Miller family and Chase's childhood: They had 4 dominant alpha children who manifested before they were 5 years old. Actually they should have have stopped with having children after the twins, at that point the had 3 dominant alpha children manifested under 2 years.
During KMIYC Grayson is completely unaware that the way he treated Chase and "helped" Chase had such a negative effect on Chase. For him Chase is a younger brother who needs to be protected.^^
Yes, but since his father became aware of what happened and was mad about it, I think he got that shouldn't be an option, but he still jokes about it.

Ok, a small spoiler for another novel concerninn pheromone parties. At those parties there is always a medical team for emergencies present, often Steward himself.

The problem with Chase is that he doesn't want to have sex, but also doesn't go to the hospital to let his pheromones taken out. Pheromone accumulation is dangerous for dominant alphas. His father went through that and is affected by it, he is dependent on his partners pheromones now, so he is extremely strict in that his children release their pheromones. He monitores his children, especially Grayson.

So Grayson takes him to those parties, there are a lot pheromones floating around and Chase passes out because of that. Then the medical staff takles out the pheromones with an injection. So Chase never had sex there, and they don't force him to have sex.
It's just that Chase doesn't even know that.^^
