Hate the ml

I get what you're saying, but I also get the ML's point of view. political and business marriages are such complicated things. You can't force yourself to sleep with someone you don't like but,you still have a responsibility you cannot reject. If it were me and I was married off to someone I don't even like, i think I'd be keeping my distance too. It's not Nathaniel's fault either. They're all victims of their circumstances. Thank God we live in an age where our preference matters.

I won’t lie. MC definitely looks like those character girl where the shitty guy takes her and neglects the main. The whole love between mc and ml, I don’t buy it, just love bombing.

Do you know if Allen is still sleeping with Nathaniel or what? Cause if his purpose in marrying Nathaniel was for baby, and Nathaniel apparently has a difficult time conceiving, why does he have to still be married to Allen?

I genuinely wish he could get out and find some real partner. Do you have spoilers perhaps? I made a lengthy post asking for spoilers and my rant. Asking cause Chris says that Nathaniel is not pregnant YET, so implications that he and Allen are still sleeping together? Or only on Nathaniel’s heat cycle?

I feel like it’s vague, but that’s just me. Perhaps novel readers know more in detail. Honestly I felt bad for Nathaniel the most in this story, just seeing him be upset that his husband is visiting the consort more and having sex, nah not cool at all.

Of course it is kinda the same thing on Chris’s side, he has to endure his husband still being with Nathaniel and potentially another concubine. Honestly, I don’t fuck with the ML.

Nathaniel and Allen don’t love each other? I mean yeah I know Allen doesn’t love Nathaniel, but considering he still has to do his baby making duties, I was wondering if he still slept with him.

As for Nathaniel, it seems his pride/dignity is hurt that Allen wouldn’t come over(?) or one sided love.

Nathaniel is upset because he learned from a young age that duty (aka giving a birth to a heir and keeping his position) is more important than love.
He isn’t upset because he love Allen one sidedly. He upset that he can’t preform his duty as a queen essentially

But if we look at it from the OG story POV, OG Chris gave birth to an heir before Nathaniel got pregnant at all and after Nathaniel got pregnant and give birth OG Chris and his child got killed.
Even after giving birth to an heir in the OG story, OG Chris position didn’t improve much it’s seems and Nathaniel still have more power than him.
Which btw I want to know who murdered OG Chris and his baby the thoughts of everyone around in that timeline.

Ohhh okay so it’s not love he felt, just dignity and the fact he can’t even perform his duties because the other is not allowing him to (?). I want to know who killed OG Chris as well, I feel like the obvious answer would be Nathaniel or that one old guy, I forgot name. But it’s too obvious if it was Nathaniel, so doubt it’s him.

Actually, Nathaniel's family killed him because they saw Chris's son as a threat to their main goal for the heir's position. If they had done it before Nath had a child, that would have been considered treason for killing the only heir. After Nath had a child, I think no one cared about the consort and his child's death

No, but his family is also behind this. They eventually got arrested, and nath loses his nobility and will be in trouble too. Chris doesn’t want that to happen, so he asked ml to let him stay as consort first. Afterwards, nath divorced ml to married his lover knight. The knight is nobility too so he gets to keep his position. But this time nath actually him. It isn’t just a marriage to keep his position.
