I can totally relate to your sentiment coz the pacing in the last few chapters were so fast.
But I still hope and believe that this is a manhwa adaptation so maybe they will improve the pacing to make it more impactful to read for the readers. I am damn wishing, praying, begging for the ending pacing to be well paced (the revelations as well). I dont mind if they want to add original scenes that wasn't in the novel as long as it helps with the pacing and the story itself, I am okay with it. Especially Pete and Chase, I want more parent child moments with them in this manhwa.
So far I am liking this adaptation. What about you? Is the manhwa adaptation ok?

ugh i love this story so much, but..
[DON’T READ FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE NOVEL]
i’m not looking forward to the seeing ending. i feel like it was so bland and cut way too short. the whole ‘chase! you’re actually a father!’ reveal after joshua is revealed as an omega wasn’t terrible, especially with chase overcoming his fears and stepping up. however, the fact that there was really no look into chase’s inner workings after that and we were given an almost IMMEDIATE timeskip to one sole chapter where chase, pete and a third son are waiting for joshua at the airport and they have a silly little reunion and then BAM— that’s it? it was disappointing. no daily life extras, no look really into how this changes chase’s life or even into their dynamic before the timeskip, the lack of content between pete and chase after chase learns that he’s his father (before the timeskip)… ugh. i love this story but the end kind of feels really deflating, lol.
