I’m so confused about the plot sometimes. If Gods lose their memories when they achieve godhood then how tf did Osiris keep his?? Like his whole obsession with making Seth remember their past lives as lovers is a contradiction isn’t it??

Since Seth is apparently the youngest, I always thought that when he was born, Osiris was already a god

It is not a contradiction if osiris was already a God when he had a relationship with seth, who had yet to become one.

Gods cannot break taboo to fully restore their past-life memories without violating the laws of causality and suffering backlash such as soul fracturing or forced shutdown. It remains uncertain whether Osiris has truly regained all his memories or only part of them without consequences. In his madness, he made contradictory claims like saying he and Seth were once lovers, then insisting Seth rejected him for being male and vowing to punish him for breaking his heart.

"His brother always followed him. Brother copied his words and actions He was annoyed with his brother. And before he knew it he thought he was lovely. He taught his brother knowledge."

"He denied his feelings They should not break the taboo until they became gods"

As for whether osiseth were lovers or not its still a vague possibility cuz I wouldnt tust osiris words blindly as of yet. His claims have too many loopholes and it'd directly contradict horus in past chapter who had the wadjet epiphany and said "seth had chosen me since a long time now". What did horus see thatd make him say that esp since they just recently got together so where does this long time come from if not past. So horuseth past lovers is slightly more plausible than osiseth

I'm pretty sure the claim of seth rejecting him bc he was a man was AFTER seth became a God and it's evident in the chapters before seth kills osiris.
Also I think ur theory of horuseth being past lovers is highly plausible theory considering other theories I have heard, but me personally when horus said that "seth has chosen me since a long time now" he probably referred to how seth is quite a tsundere and he had accepted him during their journey together before even getting together but it was seths stubbornness that got in the way, but like I said horuseth past lovers is highly plausible

Ah I see! Thats possible too. I assumed he was making past lives claim since osiris felt like he was collecting fragments of memories. This seems more sense. About the horus prophecy u see why i think it was past lifr because last chapter after he tested moon eye powers he was able to make a future prophecy where he saw seth willingly die n fade away FOR horus nobody else. But then when thoth encouraged him to use wadjet as well which we know is literally all encompassing light that reaches past future present and is everywhere he probably was able to take a peak at the distant past. How? Because his hair turned white. That should be wadjet powers and wadjet is Supreme jurisdiction power meant only for a full fledged god. On horus demigod body its overwhelming and he cannot handle that. And he suddenly switched up after returning to senses too. His bewilderment, shock, use of informal speech referring to seth and saying that prophecy before flying away. To me it seems to be not a simple prophecy but a glimpse at wadjet powers and HTE past life.

Thoth n maat are super suspicious too they keep probing seth n horus as if they want horuseth to investigate and find stuff on their own
