THANK YOU!!! This is exactly what I was saying. Like, he's very much just stupid and even still he was completely upfront and didn't hide things. Idk why people were SO upset that this character did something in-character... Even if it's a shitty thing to say, that's the POINT. He's still learning how to properly have a relationship
