It could have been much shorter with the tech talk. The whole point it’s to make the reveal for the reader. It would have been fine if it was the reveal for both nick and us but it was too much since it’s already been confirmed to the reader.
Did we really need so much mumbo jumbo and most of the chapter just for John to say “yeah it’s Locke”. Like, we already knew that. It isn’t a big reveal for us just get it over with and tell nick.
