In the latest raw, Karin is banging another dude. Kinda weird to become I assumed guides can’t top in a relationship. I was convinced that Kahim was straight because in previous chapters, author mentioned he has a son but as a guide, he could be bi because he’s a guide and his job is to guide both male and female. I used translator so the translation may not be accurate. Konrad is asking if Kahim is a “chick”. Also, Kahim made a blood pact when he was 18. I think Kahim can guide both male and female. K can guide females too all guides can actually its just that some of them have preferences and k can guide ppl w/o touching them and base on what was shown in the manhwa so far he only ever had contact guiding with jerome and fabian and some guides can top too
The plot twist is that characters have preferences on how they wanna bang people? god forbid a character go against someone’s preconceived stereotypes, by god!
In Guiding Hazard the esper is the bottom for example.
I'm guessing guideverse is going through some changes or expanding outside the stereotype, cuz while in this manhwa guides have access to a portion of their esper's power in many other guideverses I've read it's not this way.
I'm happy that this universe is getting more variation in dynamics, so that there's the base concept of guide and esper but the potential to deepen their abilities, especially for the guides.

Yeah, Guiding Hazard is definitely shaking things up in the Guideverse and I’m here for it. Having the bottom as the top flips the usual power script in a way that feels fresh without breaking the core tension. Guides still soothe, Espers still surge, but who’s on top literally or figuratively isn’t locked in anymore. You’re spot on about the power sharing mechanic being a big divergence. In most guideverse stories I’ve seen, guides are pure support, emotional regulators, walking batteries, etc… Guiding Hazard letting guides siphon a slice of their esper’s ability opens up wild possibilities sudden combat utility, shared skill trees, even mutual burnout risks. It turns the pairing from “esper carries, guide patches” into a feedback loop where both sides can grow or crash together.
