Just look at the prologue

Just look at the prologue and you will see him back again, with his “benefactor” imprisoned in order to threaten Yeonjo not to leave again nor do anything like faking his death; also you can see Yeonjo half crippled (Heeryang most likely cut one of his tendons to prevent him from running away, meaning he can walk only with a cane, making him slower and fully dependable really = he cannot dream of escaping after that). It also looks like Heeryang no longer feels the need to chain him now that he’s crippled, and perhaps he doesn’t force him to engage in any sexual activities… The conclusion reading comments from previous chapters: most of you are really innocent, like what did you expect?? Hehe, not really, it all just comes to the author’s comments and the prologue. It was kinda obvious that this arc has to be gut-wrenching and make you feel uncomfortable to make you reckon whether to drop or not the series, and of course, the length of this part is also important. Suggesting a time skip this soon in this part made no sense as it was gonna be an extremely brief and superficial way of jumping to the third and final act. If it was gonna be just imprisonment and noncon sexual activity, it would’ve been depicted in a more extensive and graphic way to make you feel sicker and then it would’ve come this escape attempt and finally the time skip, which hasn’t happened, so it was not gonna go that way ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Yes lol, they were expecting a surreal love story ending, and it’s probably gonna happen more or less that way if Heeryang wakes tf up and dethrones the current emperor, beheads him and puts the rightful emperor back as it should’ve been from Yeonjo’s father point of view. Also, doing this would make so much sense because after all, Heeryang is only the “blade”, he’s not the “sword”, if you get what I mean. He was given orders and he just did what he had to, he didn’t mean to shed blood just for the sake of shedding it (just look at how he spared Yeonjo’s and his brother’s lives along a couple others). Not obliging would’ve meant death or even worse, so I’m not blaming him for carrying on with what was ordered, I blame him for everything he did after (Yeonjo in general), knowing what he did and whom he did it to(● ̄(エ) ̄●)

I've read the prologue more than once but I prefer not to make too many assumptions. I understand your thought process, but we can't know from the prologue if it is Heeryang who hurts Yeonjo's leg. And in the prologue Heeryang seems to be using Moonwon to blackmail Yeonjo about not hurting himself again, but we don't know if he's forcing Yeonjo to stay. After all, Yeonjo is shown in the prologue to be walking around alone and asking Heeryang for sex. There may be other explanations to the scenes we are shown in the prologue. We can't know for sure.

That’s very true, I said what I said thinking it was the most logical outcome, judging by what we are currently seeing and what we are supposed to see. The sex part should be strongly linked to his conversation with the silver haired guy telling him to use Heeryang again for his own benefit, because it can really not be any other thing than it being advantageous for him or his purposes(⌒▽⌒)

Don't get me wrong, it does look like it is that!
But can we be sure that those scenes are chronologically organised in the prologue?
Also, when Yeonjo comes onto Heeryang in the prologue, Heeryang asks him if he's drunk again. Meaning, it seems Yeonjo has come onto him while drunk before.
Again, not saying you are wrong in your predictions! Just saying we cannot be sure about what is going to happen. After all, previews like this are famously known for being intentionally deceptive.

To be honest, I really do hope to be wrong in most of what I’m saying, because I would love things to go on a different direction, like seeing the author do something unexpected with the plot or even just not try to go for a unrealistic love ending because this is gonna reach a depth beyond salvation. Only a good backstory would actually kind of justify what’s currently going on with the narrative (/TДT)/
