Nothing was resolved or over. The point of this chapter is forgiveness in my opinion.
Hyesung, as a parent pov, yelled to his son without trying to understand why Byul wanted to met his grandma and focused only in his own feelings, very valid reaction too. But that caused them to fight and Hyesung was feeling very distressed about it because he loves his son more than the hate he has to his own mother.
And Byul was feeling very down too in the previous chapter and he wanted to apologize inmediately. He recognized his mistakes and went to his house to apologize. He reasured that he loves his mom and Hyesung was happy to hear that.
From Byul's pov, one where he knows nothing, he thinks there is a chance his mom reunites with his grandma. It's a child whishful thinking that some readers can sympathize with but it doesn't mean that Hyesung should do it o if he does it, it will be for him, for his own healing and future relationship with his son and daughter than because his mother deserves it.
Fuxking Dojin tried to cover it up. He deserves all the hate tbh
But the whole issue with the grandma needs to be resolved in one way or another
Literallyyy
It’s so annoying how in the chapter Dojin is like
“Yesss!!!! I did it because she looks like you It’s bc I love you so much and I couldn’t help myself!!!! ”
Pls Sybau Dojin you are not the great husband you think you are
I think it would have been good if the author had let Hyesung at least explain why he feels that way to Byul. But instead, the author downplays the situation and shoves it under the rug. I really don’t think the author has any intention of exploring that part anymore, they just want a happy wholesome resolution to the saddest part of Hyesung’s story. I think the conflict is gonna end with Hyesung somehow running into the mom again (Or Byul or Dojin setting something up) and them making up for Byul’s sake, which is so stupidddd
Fucking Dojin tagged along in his son's apology like the coward he is.
I kinda hope Hyesung gets to met his mom but to let go of that part of him that still hurts him to this day. The woman was horrible and doesn't deserves any forgiveness. But, because he has a good relationship with his own children, Hyesung shouldn't get angry if one of them starts asking him about his past. Children get curious about the tinniest things. And they should feel like they can come to you to ask about anything and no do it behind your back. They have a happy household full of love and fun, something Hyesung always wanted.
This author likes to put a little bit of drama with the happy times here and there, because is shounen ai doesn't mean this is free from heavy stuff just a different approach, but the whole grandma thing will come back especially because Hyesung now knows Byul is meeting with her and as the good parent he is, he will want to get involved in that. But Dojin is the one who should have told Hyesung from the beginning everything... I hate him.

I don’t understand why the author made it seem like such a major conflict if it was going to get resolved in such a quick and shitty matter. It was obviously something that was very traumatizing and a sore spot for hyesung so idk why the author made him just gloss over everything like “eh, it’s whatever dw ”
If it was just whatever, why did the author make him have a meltdown last chapter
And NOTHING got resolved. Hyesung didn’t get to explain his side to Byul so the chapter just ended with Byul being like “I hope my mom and grandma make up soon
