I honestly think so too, but my point still stands. Jaekyung didn't suffer enough before he came to the conclusion that he wanted to have Dan by his side. I am all in for Dan to have a new love interest to raise the stakes, Jaekyung needs a rough reminder of what could have been and what he has lost
The half-baked shit I'm currently reading is not a redemption arc. Jaekyung is still mainly acting on selfish reasons! He has abused Dan for months upon months, preyed on his financial vulnerability to sleep with him. Manhandled him, forced himself on him, put him on sexual display when he didn't consent to it out of sheer jealousy ... verbally and physically abused him in ways that are almost unforgiveable and lead to him almost being pushed over the edge - he needs to grovel at Dans feet and apologize for what he did like HE SHOULD.
Because how could we even talk about redemption when they have barely spoken about what happened? Jaekyung needs to sincerely apologize to him and own up to what he did and unless that happens I am not changing my mind. Right now he doesn't deserve to him ... not in the slightest
Just a reminder that this story isn't real. So who gives a fk? I personally came here to read my +18 toxic yaoi and chill (not that toxic if you ask me, all was easily overcome and acceptable) not here to discuss about the problems of society.
I don't understand people who complain about seme being rude, girl, you know what you're reading right? Unless you came here to consume toxicity, I don't know what you're doing here. And don't compare this shit to real life please, irl those two wouldn't even fall in love, no, jjk would be heterosexual for sure lol
I'm hyped like y'all about their love story and the good ending (right you're hyped huh? Coz some people still think it would be better if they don't end up together lol)... But it's too early to ask where is the sincerity, the chemistry, the author said that season 2 will be longer than the 1st one :)) why not be patient?

Ugh, no ... there needs to be more angst ... on Jaekyungs side. He needs to be aching and throwing up. He needs to be rejected again and again and keep on yearning until he has finally redeemed himself. One or two "cute" episodes and the occasional blushing won't smooth over his past wrong-doings - this whole direction just feels stale and forced.
For some reason the author decided to rush the most important part of the story because of ... what exactly? Where is the magic that went into the BJ Alex confession? Where is Jaekyungs redemption? Where are the scenes of him humbling himself, sincerely repenting and getting his heart ripped out repeatedly in several chapters of angsty pining before they ultimately end up together because Dan finally realises his sincerity? Where is the built-up tension? The chemistry? There is absolutely nothing ... the latest chapters feel so hollow compared to what I've read in the beginning of the story. It's like the author just gave up and started ticking boxes of tropes she wanted to cover instead of planning ahead where she wanted to take this.
I am aware that it's not fair of me to ask for the exact same thing the author has written before ... but honestly, at this point we need a bit more than an amusement park chapter and half-baked swimming scenes to rectify the past.
