I agree so much with you. Coercion/assault/rape is so normalized and swept under the rug in so many stories, just because the one doing it *loves* the other.
And I understand it's fiction, and a lot are here just for the good sex scenes, but still.. I think we can have good consensual sex scenes, as well.

it’s not worth it, they’ll just use the “it’s fiction” excuse which is incredibly flawed (they also come off as hypocrites most of the time) they won’t get it and will just attack and argue with you like they always do
Exactly!!! And that makes it even more upsetting. I'm pretty sure they'd make the alpha do all good things later on in the story so why do this in the first place?!!? I don't get the logic.
And before anyone says to just drop the story if we don't like it... yes, i'll be going. It was cute the first two chapters but nah. Please don't normalize and romantize things like that even if it's fiction. ):
