For most other BLs I would def agree with you. But for asperier- I think the separation he caused was legit because of mental breakdown and fear of being rejected by nux- so it feels super sad and unfair to see him be treated like this again. This might reinforce asperiers body image issue even more. Nuxs suffering during that separation is also extremely valid.... it's just both of them are/were hurting.
Yeah I totally get your point. I just really like angst but I get it. They did after all married and had kids so it do feel unnecessary in a way but the author gotta make banks yk.
