Nope not really. Omegaverse was first made by a fan of the Supernatural tv series. They wanted a plausible reason for 2 straight guys getting together and started with the werewolf trope. Then came the Japanese DJs, fanfiction by the original authors of AoT and Haikyuu!! which blended the succubus and werewolf tropes together for the official Omegaverse concept.

It does make since, but don’t you notice that lately it’s just for the excuse i’ve written? Like it’s very rare not to find a specific scene when the omega or alpha is in heat and just jumps on eachother even though the plot from the start was that they hate eachother or can’t stanf the sight of eachother
I think that it’s just an excuse for animalistic sex to blame it on the phermones, so we don’t feel like it’s a rape rather than just ‘the two people want each other because they’re followed by the bond and phermones yada yada
I don’t hate it sometimes, but sometimes it’s a bit.. too much?
