    probably, adaptations tend to do that to try and appeal to a wider audience sometimes

    so far it's just the general setting of the scenes that play out, in the novel the scene where Ain is touching Michelle and having sex with him feels a lot more like sexual coercion and dub-con then it does in the manhwa. The novel makes it a lot more gross and uncomfortable then the manhwa does.
