He does chase after him tho. Even literally. Also begs for him to stay but while also being arrogant in his roundabout way that Luce misunderstands.
Loved that angst push and pull. ML doesn’t just become lovey dovey suddenly and they don’t justify his past actions with a sob story. (Yeah JINX reference) He’s fucked in the head and emotionally stunted as mentioned multiple times in the story.
But sadly, he didn’t cry for Luce. But understandably so.
Haven’t really finished reading yet tho.
What, so again we're all reading something that looked really promising only to find a toxic and red ML who won't chase or atone ?!
Is it finished in the novel ? Is it at least somewhat of a happy ending ? I don't see how it could be satisfying for readers if it all goes on and on without whiplash and real love. :/
