this is my view as well which is why when people asked I tried to give the least amount of spoilers in a way that was more basic and general vs opinion based, cuz if people asked me for spoilers based off my actual opinion then my answer would be different, I liked the story, I liked that it was a little dark and had a pretty serious plot with characters that are vastly different but some people might not like that while others may like it a lot. (other then if people were straight up asking if there's rape or SA since that can really be a hit or miss in a story for a lot of people). I also encourage people to read the novel if they really wanna know what happens later in the story cuz it's a decent read and the progression of the plot is interesting if you actually experience the plot naturally instead of getting spoiled right at the start.

Everyone asking for spoilers on this. It’s fine to ask don’t get me wrong, but honestly? A lot of people’s views can be biased. If you’re able to handle the story then read it, that way you can create your own opinion instead of relying on others. At the end of the day this is just a story, this isn’t real life or based off of a true story. If you’re hesitant on reading it, don’t be! Experience the story, unless you’re triggered way too easily.
