Try re-reading only the official scans; it helps. Also keep in mind that the author pivoted things in the story so it probably won't all make sense until later episodes, but so far we at least know why Yuta hates Seunghyun.

She's trying to sew the plot together. When we meet Yuta and Seunghyun, we're told they have a history, and that Yuta hates Seunghyun and wants to drag him down in the dirt with him. Without the flashbacks, we won't know the reason why Yuta despises him.
