Im pretty sure they meant that he never did that with his previous girlfriends (probably because they kept the place clean themselves lol)
when he's talking to his sister be mentions that he did the housework. i love this manga a lot, but i don't like how it trivialises housework and implies that if you don't have a "real job" you're lazy and worthless no matter how hard you work at taking care of the house and cooking the entire day.
everyone keeps calling taichi a bum when be does all the housework And cooks ??? like all that work is no joke, that's a homemaker not a neet
