Exactly! It gets even worse because you learn that they're nobles or people who grew up privileged. After her back story was further explored, you'll sympathize with her even more. The only person who understand this whole situation is the male lead.
after chapter 7 i am lowkey hating the main crew (outside of mc) like how can you know her position (being forced to labour, casting spells etc.) and still resenting her??? it's not like she SIDED with crown prince but more like she had no other option. She was basically a SLAVE turned into commoner by the only person who showed her kindness and yet used her. It's not like she could just chose to walk away- hating someone like that shows your poor personality so that maid character can eat shit for all i care
