I see where you're coming from but at the same time I feel that preference and fetishizing feel to similar. There are people who have preference for black people and not everyone finds that weird. So while I do agree with you I'm just saying that we shouldn't take to the extreme and assume he's fetishizing the hybrids. It could also be a case of he fell for the human form and later found they were a hybrid or the brother is only showing his hybrid flings to keep the two apart.
While i don’t think he’s purposefully fetishizing hybrids, i don’t think that means he doesn’t have a fetish…. i don’t know, it’s complicated since we don’t have enough info yet. If he was a hybrid then i’d get it, yk going for another hybrid. But what you said about the preference, i do think it’s a bit odd when let’s say a white guy has a preference for latinas, black women, or asian women??? to be like “oh yeah lol i just realized i usually end up dating them?” is like okay yeah coincidence but when they actually seek them it’s like..????.. let’s just hope that isn’t what our mc was doing!!

i get that he’s 40 and obviously he’s gonna have a dating history, if it was like a couple humans and hybrids here and there, okay makes sense but almost all hybrid is weird???? imagine ur on a date with a white guy (ur asian) and find out his dating history is almost all asian women??? it’s different then just finding out that ur partner has a history of dating emo while ur an emo because its a race. If he was a hybrid then it’d make sense but since he’s not, its a bit odd..
