based on novel, it’s just bcs he got embarrassed for being caught stealing and proceed to be cautious around the tiger. like put yourself in his shoes, if you already got caught but the victim acted nicer to you and gave you everything, wouldn’t you be suspicious and on guard as well? the time setting is literally less than a month so they barely know eo tho, practically strangers at that.
like why would someone treat you nicely when you did something bad to them? so he’s just acting on guard bcs he’s trying to figure out what the tiger want and this is basically the whole plot, it will be like this until the end lmao. and honestly after reading the whole novel, this is just bland, nothing special and just fluff work. there’s nothing more to it as it’s stay true to the title, it is “cat theraphy” afterall.
paws and claws is far good than this, the plot is nice and it’s not a short novel so it’s well written imo. for this one, there is some romantic progress but for me out of 100% the romance is prolly just 10% lmao. i said him being shy and on guard as the whole plot bcs you’ll see it alot almost until the end.
like maybe on the last 2-3 chapters you’ll finally see they actually got lovey dovey with eo but the whole novel is just about how the tiger put a therapy on the cat to soften it up to him, that’s all. there’s really just fluff and even the smut is….kinda awkward and bland. it’s just a short novel so maybe that’s why there’s nothing special, the author just want to write fluff with nothing complicated ig xd

like the tiger (yongwoo?) tries so much to be nice to him , provides him clothes and food and house and even buys him a camera , let’s him do freely whatever he wants and uke just keep sulking like at this point i would think of him differently especially since dodong (the cat uke) stole his money and tiger seems to realize the hard situation ike’s in
