I feel the same way, I honestly think it’s the quality of the stories and repetition that makes it harder to pique interest. Like I’m tired of smut piled on top of smut without a good story to rock my world
same, the best thing I’ve read in the past month is a bl where they’re both sea worms and I think that speaks volumes. I can’t tell if I just reached unc status and hate everything now but there’s also just less good stuff being put out there rn as well as less translators

The same author for Forms of Sympathy. Such a good manhwa. I swear this author knows how to write a good story.
Same. And bcz of unnecessary smut overload, the plot doesn’t go anywhere. Every story I have read from last year, all of them are stuck somewhere. Progress is nowhere to be found. I have stopped reading most of them. So basically now I just visit this website as it is a regular routine of mine to check updates but end up reading none and scroll through comment section then leave after a few minutes.
I have started watching bl dramas lately. I was never a bl drama fan but kind of started liking them from this year. Watched some dramas and they were actually good.
omg I feel u cus I be reading w my brain off nowadays. even the stories I find entertaining enough I dont acc feel anything towards the charas or the plot. I also just havent been a fan of alot of the art styles and thats smth i highkey care about when reading. Idk how to explain it but I feel like a lot of the newer manhwas have stiff expressions that just rlly only focus on looking pretty as well as the same boring panelling and colours. idk if im being biased. ive been tryna read more light novels but ngl a lot of them are cliche as well, but it fixes the art issue for me lol
I’ve been enjoying Sugar Trap and Master-Peace because I truly don’t know where the story is going.
I also read stories based on artwork lol. It’s just if I don't find them good looking I cannot get invested into the story and characters.
Master-Peace is already in my list. Hopefully it would be a good read.. I am marinating this one.
Does anyone get hyped up over any bl manhwa these days or waiting patiently for new updates or feeling excited about reading any story? No stories pique my interest lately.
