Yeah. Either he was a blind idiot, or he thought some crap like: "loving someone equals always tolerating the other person's (eternally) intolerable surroundings (without the beloved person's EVER needing to move a finger.. to try and change those -eternally- intolerable surroundings).
This is a good story with a decent plot. FL is pretty, smart, and likable. The ex husband’s terrible but I like conflict character and how regret, yearning he is after losing FL. Serve him right for treating her like that. His way or concept of love is so twisted, that’s why he lost!! May this love not find me LOL.
